1. Acceptance
By using danburyelks.org, the member portal, or the lodge’s text messages, you agree to these Terms. They are offered by Danbury Lodge No. 120 of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Incorporated (“the lodge”), 36 Sugar Hollow Rd, Danbury, CT 06810.
2. Using this website
- Use the site lawfully, and do not try to break or misuse it, or send spam through its forms
- Event details, prices and hours can change; the lodge will correct mistakes when it finds them
3. Tickets, donations and dues
- Prices are shown before you pay. Card payments are processed by our payment processor.
- Refunds follow what the event listing says; if it says nothing, contact the lodge
- Member prices are for members in good standing
4. Hall rental inquiries
Sending a Rent Our Hall form is a request, not a booking. No date is held until the lodge confirms it with you directly.
5. Member portal
The member portal is for members of Lodge No. 120. Keep your sign-in to yourself. Membership itself is governed by the Grand Lodge and the lodge’s by-laws, not by these Terms.
6. Text messaging terms
Program: Danbury Elks Lodge Texts, sent by Danbury Elks Lodge No. 120 from (475) 256-5388.
What we send:
- If you opted in on the Contact or Rent Our Hall form: replies to your inquiry, hall rental and event details, and follow-ups about what you asked
- If you signed up for Lodge Texts or opted in through the member portal: lodge news, event and meeting reminders, replies to your messages, and dues reminders for members
How you opt in: by ticking the unticked texting box on our Contact or Rent Our Hall form, signing up on our Lodge Texts page, ticking the texting box in the member portal, or texting JOIN to (475) 256-5388. Opting in is optional and is not a condition of membership, of renting the hall, or of buying anything.

7. Calls and automated assistants
Calls and texts to the lodge may be answered by an automated (AI) assistant, and calls may be recorded. You will be told at the start of a call, and you can ask for a person.
8. Limitation of liability
The website is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, the lodge is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site or its messages, or for outages and delivery failures of the services it relies on.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
