Veterans

Since 1917, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has demonstrated its compassion for the veterans of our armed forces through numerous programs and activities. Since 1946, the order has maintained the pledge, “So long as there are Veterans, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks will never Forget them.”

House Committee

The House Committee controls the bar and social quarters of the Lodge. All decisions and actions of the House Committee are subject to the control and direction of the Lodge and its members by discussions and vote at Lodge meetings. The Exalted Ruler is the chairman of the House Committee.

Activities Committee

It is the responsibility of the Exalted Ruler, other Lodge Officers and all the committees to develop and successfully execute a balanced program of Lodge Activities, including social functions, club activities, and community service projects.

P. E. R. Committee

This Association has been organized to unite all of the Past Exalted Rulers of Connecticut in close bonds of fraternal brotherhood, sworn to assist in recommending and maintaining, through collective counseling, the highest degree of leadership possible in their respective districts of Connecticut and in their subordinate Lodges;
